What we do:

For the past six years Atrendia has partnered with hundreds of organizations, including six Fortune 100 companies in order to increase their profitability by investigating current practices and procedures in communications and information management in order to locate and remove waste and redundancy as well as increase profitability in ways that were previously undetected.  In most cases we can increase productivity by at least 25% and in in the area of e-mail management a minimum of 40%.  We are able to achieve these metrics through a unique combination of tools and collaborative partnerships with highly specialized communication, change management and LEAN Six-Sigma consultants in Europe and the US.

How we do it:

Our starting point is always: Do more with what you already have.  What is the purpose of upgrading equipment or buying more  software if the challenge lies in the current procedures and methods? But before any investigation we, as Stephen Covey suggests, begin with the end in mind.  This means that we take the necessary time to create a clear vision of where we want to be once the project is complete.  This is usually in the form of a Strategic Design Workshop, which is a one to two-day event where we bring together three to eight members of your business development, process optimization and communication leaders.

How we add value: 

We know that there is no one way to implement a best practice in an organization where different cultures, languages, temperaments, and styles converge without respect for any single approach. 

Conversely, while the map may vary for each project, the basic format, based on Demming’s Plan-Do-Check-Act procedure, has few variables.  Accordingly, each project begins with establishing a sense of urgency and ends with instituting Kaizen or continuous improvement. 

Another commonality of all our projects is that they are success-driven.  This means that every project has a number of milestones based on ROI projections.  Rather than waiting to the end of a project to judge its success (hope-driven), we ensure that each phase meets or surpasses the success criteria that we, together with our customer, have established. Whether it is a seminar, workshop, round-table discussions, training or software adoption, each step is carefully monitored for effectiveness and added value.

Our guiding methodology, Atrendia Streaming Techniques (AST), incorporates the wisdom we have gathered from recognized leaders in the fields of efficiency, effectiveness, communications and change management.  We combine and transform accepted theories to form and implement practical solutions and then standardize their practice within the organization by ensuring, in advance, that all stakeholders are clearly recognize the value.

Discovery:

Our pre-training research has shown that nearly every single one of our clients regarded the quality and efficiency of their e-mail communications as being somewhere between average and above average before they began their journey with us, and yet Atrendia manages to reduce non-value added time for each company we work with by an average of 55%. This means that we are able to return approximately five hours a week back to each knowledge-worker to be reinvested in the organization.
